Lifesaving e Surflifesaving: sport, techniques and performance
In May, Riccione hosts a full program of Lifesaving and Surflifesaving competitions, combining sport performance with rescue techniques.
From 15 to 17 May, the Italian Absolute Spring Lifesaving Championships take place, alongside the Grand Prix 2026 Elite A on 15–16 May. Races include obstacle swims, manikin carry, and rescue simulations.
On 18–19 May, the Italian Absolute Surflifesaving Championships are held, followed by the Italian Youth Surflifesaving Championships on 20 May.
These events attract athletes and teams from across Italy.
