April brings major national swimming events to Riccione, from long-distance races to top-level absolute championships.

On 12–13 April, the Italian Spring Open Water Championships (Junior and Youth categories) take place, featuring 3 km and 5 km races that test endurance and strategy.

From 14 to 18 April, the Italian Absolute Championships – Unipol are held in the 50-meter Olympic pool. This flagship event gathers Italy’s top swimmers competing for national titles and qualification standards.
