Between February and early spring, the Riccione Swimming Stadium becomes a national hub for youth and master swimming competitions.

From 4 to 8 February, the Youth Lifesaving Spring Criteria take place, featuring technical and dynamic races focused on water rescue skills. Teams from all over Italy participate, creating a highly competitive atmosphere.

On 21–22 February, the Emilia-Romagna Regional Master Championships bring together master swimmers (25+) competing across multiple swimming disciplines.

From 26 March to 2 April, Riccione hosts the prestigious National Youth Swimming Criteria, one of the most important events in the Italian youth swimming calendar, especially in short-course competitions.

During these events, the city welcomes athletes, families, and coaches, creating a lively and sport-oriented atmosphere.
